The Preac Micro-Precision Thickness Sander has been developed for
model makers and hobbyists who have a requirement for wood of different thickness' that
are not commercially available. It will allow the scratch or model builder to
manufacture his own lumber from resawn boards or from wood bandsawed from small logs and
other sources.
The Preac Micro-Precision Thickness Sander was developed by the
makers of the well known Preac Table Saw, in response to many requests from customers for
a similar quality scale thickness capability. The Preac Micro-Precision Thickness
Sander will satisify the most demanding model maker.
Key Features
Will sand wood from .010" to .75" thick and up to 3" wide.
Sanding Sleeves are available in a variety of grits.
The table is adjustable from side to side to provide boards of uniform thickness or ones
with an intentional wedged/tapered cross-section.
Cutting Speed of the drum is approximately 14,000 surface inches per minute or 1,500
RPM.
A hole is provided in the guard to attach a standard 1.25 inch shop vacuum hose.
